According to the Public Relations Department of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order’s Barakat Foundation, Eng. Jafari, CEO of Barakat Foundation said, “Barakat Foundation in 2018-9 was committed to creating 18450 jobs, which was succeeded to increase this number to 30,000 job opportunities. In 2019-20, it will be increased into 30,000 employment initiatives with development of 72000 job opportunities.”
As the CEO of Barakat Foundation said, creation of 10,000 job creation initiatives in 2018-9 has been achieved through advocating more than 13777 billion rials. He underlined 217% as the realization coefficient of Barakat Foundation plans in the field of job creation in the past year and added, “We have created and launched 40,000 new direct and indirect job opportunities across the deprived and less-developed parts of the country.”
Explaining about 10,000 job creation projects of Barakat Foundation in 2018-9, Engineer Jafari said that a total of 9800 projects, out of total projects, have been created in the framework of society-based job creation initiatives through investing 8,265 billion rials. Launching these society-based job creation projects has been associated with the employment of 31800 people. 10 other projects, in the framework of enterprise-based job creation model, have been completed through advocating a credit more than 2500 billion rials, which in turn has been associated with development of businesses for 3500 people both directly and indirectly.
“190 loans-based job creation initiatives of Barakat Foundation with 3000 billion rials investment has resulted in employment of 4700 people both directly and indirectly,” he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks the CEO of EIKO’s Barakat Foundation stated, “45 types of servicing have been predicted for the foundation in the last year, which is increased to 53 items. Also, 400 contracts have been predicted for constructing schools, cultural and religious centers in 2018, which is increased to 521 cases.”
According to the CEO of Barakat Foundation, development and expansion of society-based job creation models in 2018 have been started by the Research and Development Committee of this foundation with the aim of expansion of job opportunities across the rural and deprived parts of the country.
To conclude his remarks, he referred to the presence of Barakat Foundation in 3000 villages of the country 2018 and added that it will increase to 6000 villages in 2019.
