EIKO Launches Water-Supply Project to Deprived Villages in Gilan Province
Yesterday, Official in Charge of Jihadi Headquarters of the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) Dr. Mohammad VadoodHeidari visited water-supply projects in the deprived villages of Gilan province.

Dr. Mohammad VadoodHeidari expressed his hope on the development of Jihadi activities across Gilan Province and was briefed on the construction trend of water-supply projects in this province.

Giant steps were taken by the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EIKO) in the field of construction operation of water-supply projects in Gilan Province and other provinces of the country.

Barakat Foundation has been established in response to the Leader’s order to head of Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) stating: “I’m concerned about solving problems of the deprived classes of the society. For instance, solve problems of 1000 villages completely. How good would be if 1000 points of the country are solved or 1000 schools are built in the country, prepare this organization for this purpose.”  In this regard, Barakat Foundation was formed by EIKO on Dec. 11, 2007 in order to act as an organization to uproot deprivation, to realize economic and social empowerment and to carry out public affairs. Relying on the Holy Quran, this foundation was named “Barakat”.
