The managing director of Barakat Foundation announced the news during the unveiling ceremony for the “Prisoner Evolution Plan” in which that foundation will participate seriously, aimed at creating jobs for the prisoners all over Iran, adding: This year 6,000 social-based job creation plans for the freed prisoners with foot-rings and their family members all over Iran.

Elaborating on the “Prisoner Evolution Plan”, Mohammad Torkamaneh said: This plan is implemented in the framework of the Judiciary Force Evolution Document, one of whose topics is creating jobs for the freed prisoners. Respectively, the Barakat Foundation, as the main partner of the Prisons Organization of the Country, plays a special role in job creation for the prisoners and their families.

 The managing director of Barakat Foundation added: In the (Iranian) year 1401 (began on March 21, 2022), implementing 6,000 social-based job creation plans for the freed prisoners with foot-rings, and their families, as well as the prisoners behind bars, is in the agenda of the foundation.

Torkamaneh said that the pilot study of the plan will be implemented in Lakan district of Rasht city, reiterating: Therefore, 2,000 job creation plans for those prisoners and their families will be implemented in that pilot study.

He emphasized: It is arranged that the “Prisoner Evolution Plan” will be implemented all over the country, and the Barakat Foundation, too, will cooperate with the Prisons Organization of the Country wherever it is deemed as necessary.

According to the managing director of Barakat Foundation, the job creation plans of that foundation covers the freed prisoners, those with foot rings, who are allowed the live at large, and the families of the prisoners behind bars.

Torkamaneh further reiterated: The Barakat Foundation is strongly supporting the job creation plan for the prisoners and their families, because they are a vulnerable social class, in need for support

He added: The total investment needed for creating 6,000 plans to created jobs for the prisoners and their families is 10,000 and 800 billion rials.

The managing director of Barakat Foundation focusing on the previous activities of that foundation in the field of creating jobs for the prisoners reiterated: The foundation till the end of the (Iranian) year 1400 (ended on March 21, 2022), had implemented over 1,300 job creation plans, capable of creating 4,200 jobs for the prisoners and their families.

Torkamaneh added: The prisoners and their families, as one of the vulnerable social classes, are under the special supportive umbrella of the Barakat Foundation
