Torkamaneh: Businesses damaged in floods to be revived
The managing director of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the Execution of Imam Khomeini Order (EOIKO), visited the flood-stricken villages in Firuzkuh and Damavand townships and listened to the people who spoke with him about their problems and difficulties after the floods.

During those visits, Mohammad Torkamaneh told the people and the reporters that the businesses that are damaged, or totally destroyed in floods will be revived.

 “In addition to the job creation plans that were already in the process of being implemented in Firuzkuh, 100 new social-based plans, too, will be implemented exclusively in that township and its villages’ flood-stricken parts.

He added that also, the Jihadi forces will be stationed both in the flood-stricken pats of Firuzkuh and its villages, and those of the Damavand township, soon, and the reconstruction work will soon begin.

The managing director of Barakat Foundation referred to the existence of mud and other flood remainders in the gardens and farms of Firuzkuh and Damavand townships and their villages, ensuring the gardeners and farmers that it has been arranged that mechanical machines will wipe off the mud and flood debris from their lands.

“The EOIKO, too, will just like the previous years, provide a part of the damaged and totally destroyed home appliances and furniture, and deliver them to the flood-stricken citizens,” emphasized Torkamaneh.

He also said that the EOIKO is meanwhile committed to remunerate for “a number of the killed kettles” in the floods, and will pay to the farmers and the animal husbandry unit owners for the inflicted losses to their businesses.

Torkamaneh said that the relief and rescue and medical teams of the EOIKO are stationed in Foruzkuh and Damavand fold-stricken regions, and the EOIKO is also ready to forward one of its mobile field hospitals to those regions, if it is deemed as necessary by the Governorate of Tehran, or the concerned provincial officials.

The managing director of Barakat Foundation said at the end that ever since the early hours after the occurrence of floods in Damavand and Foruzkuh, the most essential needs of the flood-stricken citizens, such as drinking water, food stuff, blankets and tents have been forwarded to those regions.
