Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order and Lorestan Province Governor Generalship, 7,000 new job opportunities will be generated by Barakat Foundation in Lorestan Province.
Empowering economic status of the noble people of Lorestan Province has been cited as the main aim behind generation of 7,000 employment opportunities in this province.
The signing ceremony for uprooting depravity and developing Lorestan Province was held at the venue of provincial Governor Generalship on Tuesday July 25 in the presence of head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO), the Leader’s representative in Lorestan Province, Friday prayers leader of Khorramabad and governor general of Lorestan Province.
It should be noted that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed and sealed by the Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order Dr. Mohammad Mokhber and Governor General of Lorestan Province Houshang Bazvand.
Under the agreement, the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) will invest 700 billion tomans worth of capital for warding off depravity, empowering economic situation, generating employment, completing construction operation of infrastructural projects such as construction of housing for the deprived and needy people, boosting healthcare and medical treatment services, constructing cultural and educational centers, offering supportive packages such as covering orphans, granting interest-free loans and helping treatment of infertile couples in disadvantaged and underprivileged regions of Lorestan Province.
Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order Mohammad Mokhberwas the first speaker in the signing ceremony of contract in this province who pointed to the pathology of economics in the country and said: “Economic problems in the country will not be settled without direct cooperation and collaboration of people.”
Given the above issue, people play key role in solving economic problems facing the country, he maintained.
Culture of working should be disseminated in the country appropriately, he said, adding: “Unemployment problem will be resolved in the country if skills and competencies of youth are taken into consideration logically.”
Once again, he pointed to the key role of people in solving economic problems facing the country and called on responsible officials to rely on the talented and competent youth for materializing most economic objectives of the country.
Then, he referred to the salient record of Barakat Foundation, affiliated to the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order, in the field of empowering economic status of people in underprivileged and disadvantaged areas of the country and said: “The Foundation has launched 310 empowerment projects across the country in cooperation with people, based on which, employment opportunities have been generated for 195,000 people in the deprived areas of the country as well.”
Now, more than 2,000 people have submitted their new economic plans to the Foundation, he said, adding: “The Foundation will take more effective measures in the field of generation of employment for people in disadvantaged areas of the country using constructive viewpoints of people.”
In the end, Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order Mohammad Mokhber once again called on the noble people of the country to submit their constructive viewpoints in the field of creation of more employment opportunities in disadvantaged areas of the country.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Mir-Emadi the Leader’s representative in Lorestan Province was the other speaker who pointed to the salient and significant measures taken by the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order in this province and said: “Lorestan Province enjoys many potentials and capacities and it is hoped that this province will witness valuable services of this Foundation more than ever.”
He expressed his special thanks to the measures taken by the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order across the country and said: “Dr. Mohammad Mokhber Head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order is an able, competent and efficient manager who is the source of goodness and blessing throughout the country.”
Rendering quality services to the people, removing problems facing people of country and having sense of responsibility for the God’s sake will bring about blessing, he said, adding: “Helping the needy and trying to settle their problems is a sign of God’s satisfaction, the issue of which should be taken into serious consideration.”
Warding off depravity, uprooting poverty from society and settling problems facing the oppressed and underprivileged people across the country are of the salient activities of the Foundation, the ayatollah maintained.
It is hoped that the country will witness significant investment in the field of production and generation of employment across the country, he said, adding: “Also, it was agreed that the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order will construct a number of mosques in rural areas of the country.”
In the end, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Mir-Emadi the Leader’s representative in Lorestan Province once again expressed his special thanks to the head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order in rendering quality services to the noble people of the country.
For his part, Governor General of Lorestan Province Houshang Bazvand expounded on the potential and capacity of this province in the field of attraction of investment and said: “Moreover reducing the unemployment rate, Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order has played an important role in prevention of migration of people.”
He seized this opportunity to express his special thanks to the salient measures taken by the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order in Lorestan Province and said: “In a meeting held in 2014, I reported the economic situation of this province to the head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order Dr. Mokhber, based on which, 124 billion tomans has thus far been invested by the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order in this province.”
Lorestan Province enjoys high potentials and capabilities, he said, adding: “We failed to take advantage of high capacities of this province appropriately due to the problems and difficulties facing this province in economic terms.”
He pointed to the unemployment problem and said: “Unemployment is the greatest and painful challenges facing this province.”
Suitable investment has been made in this province in the field of generation of employment, he said, adding: “Given the high unemployment rate in this province, we need 20,000 billion tomans worth of credit to settle unemployment problem in this province.”
Regardless of social harms, unemployment will lead to the migration, he maintained.
Lorestan Province is home to 103,000 students, he said, adding: “These students are the source of hope and pride who can ward off many difficulties facing this province.”
Turning to signing and sealing a Memorandum of Understanding in line with empowering disadvantaged and deprived people of Lorestan Province, he said: “It is necessary to make our utmost efforts in line with empowering the needy people.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the governor general referred to the two economic empowerment models of Barakat Foundation entitled “Sky and Sun Plans” and said: “These two patterns have been put forward by experts in an expert-level session which can be used for the generation of employment and wealth.”
Oil processing is an opportunity that the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order can invest on it using TADBIR Economic Development Group, he said, adding: “Oil processing industry can be used as an important industry for the creation of employment in this province.”
At the end of this get-together meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between the head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order and Governor General of Lorestan Province in line with uprooting depravity, poverty and developing this province.
Under the preliminary agreement, it was agreed that the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order will invest 420 billion tomans in this province, expandable to 700 billion tomans.
At the end, head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order and Governor General of Lorestan Province participated in an answer-question session in the presence of reporters and pressmen. Then, Head of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order Dr. Mokhber visited a number of esteemed families of martyred defenders of the holy shrines and paid tribute the valor and courage of these martyrs.
