According to the Public Relations Department of Barakat Foundation, in the sidelines of the ceremony held for inauguration of 500 Barakat’s society-based and loans-based employment projects, exchanging MOU of management and steering plan of development and prosperity of Delfan County and also inauguration and beginning execution operation of 110 constructional projects of Barakat, Ali Rostamian, MP of Delfan and Selseleh people to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said, “EIKO has taken advantage of all capacities of Lorestan Province to create jobs in the deprived and less-developed regions of the province.”

Pointing to more-than-60-percent rural population of Delfan and Selseleh counties, he asked for more attention to job generation in villages and added, “Presence of this rural population is a capacity and advantage for both counties, because, in regions where job opportunities have been developed and constructional works have been done, a reverse immigration from villages to cities have been made.”

Ali Rostamian referred to medical problems as the second main problem of his electorate and added, “Unfortunately the rate of suffering from cancer in Delfan is higher than that in other parts of the country and patients are under pressure to supply costs of their treatment. Also, lack of medical equipment has forced them to go to other cities and provinces.”

Member of Social Commission of Parliament pointed to measures made by Barakat Foundation in the field of the school building in Delfan and Selseleh and stated, “Barakat Foundation has built 6 schools in Delfan and 3 schools in Selseleh, so far. Likewise, the operation for constructing five new schools will be started very soon. However, the school building process in the rural parts of Delfan and Selseleh needs serious attention.”
