Barakat Foundation builds future schools; 250K students enrolled in 1,835 Barakat schools
The managing director of Barakat Foundation announced the news on the establishment of the first national event on building the national future schools, around the axis of modern technologies in academic, vocational and sports fields.

The press conference titled ‘The 1st national event: future schools’ in the presence of Mohammad Torkamaneh, the managing director of Barakat Foundation and Mehrollah Rakhshani-Mehr, the head of the country’s Organization for Renovation, Development and Equipping Country’s Schools (ORDECS).  

The managing director of Barakat Foundation said at the press conference, “This year the Barakat Foundation in line with materializing the motto of the year and implementation of the objectives of the National Document on Evolution of Academic and Training Centers, intends to cooperate with the ORDECS around the axis of modern technologies in academic and sports training as of the beginning of the new academic year.”

Torkamaneh emphasized, “The ‘National Event of Future Schools’ aimed at identifying the most up-t-date technologies and sciences in construction of academic centers and extraction of the main innovative ideas related to the software and hardware in this field, has now started.”

He emphasized that the enthusiasts can present their plans in this respect to this National Event, adding, “The knowledge-based companies, consultants, researchers, and thinkers can present their proposal and plans to this 1st National Event on Future Schools, so that if they are approved by the Board of Jurors, Barakat Foundation will support them financially.

He said that meanwhile, the ORDECS, too, will take advantage of these proposals and plans in constriction of the future schools.

The managing director of Barakat Foundation further reiterated, “This national event will be launched in two sections of the physical structure of academic centers and equipping them with the academic facilities and technologies in the future schools, and each of the participants can present their ideas around the seven exes, which are mentioned in the call for papers of this event.”

Torkamaneh added that participation in research teams, which will be maximum comprised of 5 members, or legal entities will take place and if the result of their world is approved by the Board of Jurors, discussion on applicability and implementation of the plans will begin and possibility of putting on display of each plan in and Exhibition of Techs-Market. Meanwhile, the ideas will be eventually presented to the consultants, so that the plans will be turned into projects.

According to the managing director of Barakat Foundation, this foundation while supporting the plans presented by the knowledge-based companies gives priority to such plans in this national event, and uses them as much as possible.

He emphasized that the movement to build schools in deprived districts of the cities and villages, too, is launched, adding, “Barakat Foundation’s works-to-do agenda includes the construction of 2,700 schools, and up to the present day 1,835 schools are constructed with 20,000 classes, presented to the students in deprived parts of the country.”

Torkamaneh reiterated, “Presently, more than 250,000 students are enrolled in Barakat schools.”

The managing director of Barakat Foundation reiterated that the foundation and the ORDECS have been cooperating with each other for 14 years, and this fruitful cooperation successfully continues.

He said that basically, Barakat Foundation’s activities began with construction of schools and the Supreme Leader emphasizes on this objective strongly, arguing, “The schools of the country today, are typically those that are equipped with traditional technologies and the typical standards applied in construction of schools. Although in construction of these schools each year improvements are observed, and they are equipped with more up-to-date facilities, but in the world we are faced with the entry of modern technologies and most advanced facilities in schools, that contribute to better comprehending of the students about the academic curriculum,” he said.

He reiterated, “The national event of future schools has paid attention to the related discussion in the internet, the real space around the globe, and the modern academic systems, so that we will acquire a better understanding about the students, economize on energy consumption, with which we are faced, and also their architecture, which is in need of using modern materials and innovative plans, so that academic justice will be observed throughout the country.”

 

ORDECS head: University students and professors, target of this event’s achievements

The head of the country’s Organization for Renovation, Development and Equipping Country’s Schools (ORDECS), too, referring to the National Event Conference and the future schools, said, “Our objective in the National Event of the Future Schools is letting the university students and professors use the ideas presented in it and taking advantage of modern technologies in improving them.”

Rakhshani-Mehr added, “The call for papers on ideas in this respect was made in April, 2022, and so far 140 articles have been received at the secretariat. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony of this event will be held in September.”

The ORDECS head added that the university students in various branches of architecture will teach in schools in different provinces of the county.

Rakhshani-Mehr said that the upper hand documents, including the Document on Major Evolution in Academic Centers, have obliged the Education Ministry to construct and equip modern schools, as one of their responsibilities.
