According to the head of the Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation, thanks to that foundation’s creating jobs in villages, 11,000 villager families have left the cities and returned to their villages and 8,000 carriers of homeware appliance on their shoulders have returned to their families in their cities and villages.

Asgari-Azad also referred to the addition of 200 new facilitators to the network of Barakat’s nationwide facilitators.

He said that 30,000 of the 100,000 programmed plans for the current Iranian year 1401 (ending on March 21, 2023) will be implemented by these new facilitators in deprived parts of the cities and the villages all over Iran.

Elaborating on the particular features of Barakat Foundation job creation plans, he said, “All these plans are based on the will, participation and role playing of the people, and the foundation does not even have a management role in them. Out of the 220 billion rials of investments made to create jobs in deprived districts and villages of the country, 140 billion rials are provided by the people themselves, in those regions.”

The head of Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation added, “Meanwhile, all of those plans are implemented based in the capacities, potentials, the human force, physical conditions, natural habitat, and the financial capabilities of each region, and thus the plan leads to introvert growth of the aboriginal societies of the country.

Asgari-Azad said that the participation of the local societies is another feature of the Barakat employment plans, arguing, “The regional officials and executive organizations cooperate with the foundation’s facilitators closely and seriously, and the congregational imams and other influential personalities in each region have roles and are organized in 9,270 village employment workgroups.”

He added that 14,790 workgroups, comprised only of the people themselves, too, are established in the villages, that have 198,000 members.

Also, 5,254 no-profit loan funds are established in the villages, that the people have invested 770 billion rials in them.

The head of Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation also announced the news that 412 employment committees are established in townships, whose members are Friday prayer imams, governors and local executive officials.

Asgari-Azad reiterated that thanks to the negotiations that Barakat Foundation has had with the governors in 22 provinces, the Governorate Offices have accepted the commitment to participate in job creation plans in deprived district and villages by investing 120,000 billion rials in them.

He reiterated that the Barakat Foundation in the field of creating new jobs, during the past three years and 9 months, implemented 200,000 job creating plans, with the capacity of creating 600,000 direct and indirect new jobs.

The head of the Board of Directors of Barakat Foundation said that the small plans were turned into workshops, and out of the 200,000 implemented plans up to now 13,715 plans, from small and home-based plans, which are turned into workshops, and institutes, all prove that the regional development begins from inside homes in the regions.

Asgari-Azad said that sustainability is another characteristic of the Barakat job creation plans, adding, “More than 93% of the implemented plans have been quite sustainable. Also, the extent of the delayed instalments of the job creators has been only 1.7%, which is unpredented in the country.

He emphasized that the entire activities in the field of creating new jobs are based on analyses, scientific knowledge, and experience, and up to the present day, 35 books about the outcomes of the conducted work are published.

Asgari-Azad ended his address arguing, “The entire work done by Barakat Foundation in the field of creating new jobs are under control by most up-to-date technologies and supervision systems, and they are monitored second by second.
